Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms apply to the Decklingo add-on for Google Slides, operated by Gabriel Barreto, sole trader, Portugal ("we"). By installing or using Decklingo you accept them. Contact: gabrielbarretopt5@gmail.com.
1. The service
Decklingo translates the text of Google Slides presentations using machine translation and tries to keep the original formatting. Machine translation can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing the result before you use or publish it.
2. Free plan and fair use
The free plan includes one presentation of up to 30 slides per month. The Pro plan has no fixed slide limit but is subject to fair use: to protect the service we may limit unusual volumes, such as automated use or reselling translations.
3. Payments, renewal and cancellation
Pro is billed monthly or yearly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment by writing to us. Prices may change; any change applies from your next renewal and we will tell you in advance.
4. Your content
Your presentations remain yours. You give us permission to process their text only to provide the translation. You must have the right to translate the content you submit. How we handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Decklingo to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to try to overload, copy or reverse engineer the service.
6. Availability and liability
We work to keep Decklingo available but do not guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; we will change the date above and tell you about important changes. You can stop using Decklingo at any time by removing it from your Google account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
